ACADEDMUS Days

In 1992, within the scope of the first European Concerted Action devoted to Multiple Sclerosis, was released the very first version of the EDMUS software. Today, this software is in use in more than 50 neurology departments specializing in Multiple Sclerosis, spread all over France. The EDMUS language for the clinical description of Multiple Sclerosis has become a reference for most of us. In parallel, specialized regional health networks devoted to Multiple Sclerosis have been set up. In addition, the French MS Observatory was created.

Thus, it has seemed appropriate to take a new step in this effort at amplifying and perfecting the medical and scientific management of Multiple Sclerosis in France. This is the aim of the ACADEDMUS Days, open to all EDMUS users in France, be they hospital specialists or not, members of a network or not, for them to share their experiences in the use of the EDMUS system, evaluate the ongoing collaborative projects and launch new ones.

The first ACADEDMUS Day took place in Lyon on March 16, 2007.

Since ACADEDMUS Days are French-speaking events, further information is only to be found in the French-language section of this site:

The next ACADEDMUS Day will be held in Lyon on Friday, February 11th, 2011,
in Hotel Radisson Blu.
