Diagnosis algorithms

EDMUS implements several algorithms that automatically evaluate:

  • the MS diagnosis according to Poser and McDonald criteria, as well as the clinical and paraclinical criteria onto which the diagnosis is based, and their dates of first positivity,
  • the current MS course,
  • the EDSS and EGS/DSS scores,
  • the Paty and Barkhof MRI criteria.

In addition, if the diagnosis as determined by the EDMUS software seems incorrect, the user can specify his/her own diagnosis (according to Poser and McDonald criteria).

The "Diagnosis" panel
