Multi-user and network access
You can use your EDMUS database:
- either locally on a single computer (for one or more different users),
- or placed on a server to be shared among different users on networked computers.
For a network installation (i.e., to access a single EDMUS database from several computers over a network), EDMUS can be considered as comprising 2 main parts:
- the datafile itself, to be placed on the server;
- and the EDMUS program, to be installed on every computer that must access the shared datafile.
